John Hanley, President & CEO
Born in Sydney, Australia Mr. Hanley began his professional career in Australia after living in both England and Canada as a tool and die maker. After finishing his apprenticeship John continued his education in the Sales and Marketing arena and has worked at the management level for such companies as Comalco, Epping Rubber & Pilkington. Mr. Hanley is the original founder of Solatube Australia, which began manufacturing and distributing Solatube tubular skylights in Australia in 1990. In 1992, Solatube North America Inc. was established in the USA with Mr. Hanley serving as a director until May of 1998.
In June 1998, he founded Solatube Global Marketing, Inc., which distributes Solatube Daylighting Systems in Europe and South America. He has since formed two European companies, Solatube Global Marketing Europe and Solatube Global Marketing Italy. He currently serves on the board of directors for other San Diego area businesses including International Marketing Group LLC and HHH Properties LLC. Mr. Hanley is an active Member of Vistage, the world’s leading Chief Executive Organization, as well as the San Diego International Trade Advisory Board. Mr. Hanley lives with his Wife in La Costa, Ca.
Dana K. Carlson, Sales and Marketing Manager
Originally from Vail, Colorado, Dana began her career in Yamoto-cho, Japan teaching English as well as consulting with local businesses on sales and marketing needs. Dana returned to the USA two years later and joined the Solatube Global Marketing, Inc team in 2003. Dana is responsible for Product Sales and Marketing, Product Education, New and Current Distributor Business Development and Branding. Dana is an active member of the International Trade Advisory Board and American Marketing Association.
Dana is a graduate of the University of San Diego with a double major of International Business and Spanish. She lives in Oceanside, CA with her black lab Maddie and enjoys skiing, golfing and travel.
Helen Austin, Accounting Manager
Helen originally reigns from New York City, NY however considers herself a San Diegan having lived here for over 30 years. Helen has over 33
years experience in accounting, having worked for such companies as Alpine Creek Center Company Soltec Pacific and Penton Overseas. Helen is responsible for all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and reliable data neccesary for business operations.
Helen lives in Vista, CA and enjoys live theater, dancing and longs walk on the beach.
Linda Sundstrom, Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Born in Albany, NY, Linda slowly worked her way west stopping in Philidelphia, PA and Breckenridge, CO working in the management program at Enterprise. Linda eventually ended up in our sunny San Diego and joined the Solatube team November 2005. 
Linda is the first customer contact, working closely with distributors and their orders and logistics. She assists Dana in key marketing functions including Discovery Days, tradeshows and the coordination of marketing collateral.
Linda is a graduate of Susquehanna University and lives with her boyfriend in Carlsbad, CA. She enjoys photography, skiing and playing her violin.
Reneé Harrison, Accounting Assistant
Born in Sydney, Australia, Reneé Harrison (Hanley) moved to Carlsbad, CA in 1992. Reneé has been been working for Solatube Global 
Marketing, Inc as the Accounting Assistant since 2004. Her responsibilities include account receivable functions and is a important link between the accounting department and the sales department.
Reneé lives with her husband and daughter in San Marcos, CA. She enjoys boxing, gardening and spending time with her family.
